Award Winning Dog Photography in Preston, Lancashire
For people who adore their dog.
How does it work?
Step 1: Secure your Session
Get in touch to start the ball rolling. Message me directly or click here to choose a date and time to suit you. If you have 2+ dogs, please message me before booking so I can make sure you have a spot with a little more time. We release dates on a monthly basis, so sign up to the waitlist to be the first to know about new dates (and locations!).
Step 2: The Session
Lots of fun for your dog! We will usually start with calm, composed shots before moving on to treat catches and toys. We go at a pace to suit your dog. Some dogs need a little extra time to be OK with the new environment but we will ensure they have plenty of time and use lots of positive reinforcement to make sure everyone is super happy!
Step 3: Receive the proofs
Within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive the unedited proofs. Decide on the digitals or prints you would like. Although most people choose to buy all their photos plus a few prints, there is never any pressure or hard sell. I only want you to buy the photos you absolutely love.
Step 4: Enjoy your photos forever!
Your photos will then be meticulously edited. You will receive your digital files within 2 weeks of ordering. Your prints will then be developed by our specialist UK lab and sent to you within a week. You can then enjoy them for a long time to come.
Bring your dog’s favourite toys, teddies, or their bed!
If there is something that means a lot to you and your dog, bring it along
Backdrop Colours
Go for something a little different!
Pink
Blue
A popular option for those wanting a pop of colour.
Choose your colours upfront, on the day, or ask Katie to decide!
Green is often forgotten about but can suit the walls of so many homes.
Green
If your home has slightly cooler tones, then the stark white can fit in nicely.
My absolute go-to! This suits all dogs and gives a lovely warm feel. The exact colour will vary slightly to suit your dog.
Stark White
Creamy White
A modern and understated choice.
Beige
Black
One of my favourites. Especially suits dogs with brown or golden coats.
Bold and colourful!
Grey
Another one of my favourites for a moodier feel.
Yellow

Not at all! We work with all temperaments. Whether your dog is shy, hyper, or somewhere in between, we use patience, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment to bring out their best.
When it comes to commands or tricks, it would be nice if your dog could do a 'sit' or 'down' but this isn't essential. We can use a small lead that means you can support your dog but is edited out of all final pictures so no one would ever know! The most important thing is that your dog has a fun and positive time and we can create your images to reflect that.
-
There will be no other dogs at the photoshoot and your dog will be in a safe, private & enclosed space. We also make sure no other dogs are crowding the door when you're ready to leave.
We will spend the first part of the session desensitising your dog to the flash and the feel of the backdrop under their feet - most don't care about the flash after it has gone off a couple of times, but we will never take pictures until your dog is comfortable and happy with all their surroundings.
-
Absolutely! Most images tend to be dog-only, but I would actively encourage you to be in some of the photos with your dog for your own memories and keepsake.
-
Please ensure your dog is as clean as possible before the shoot; if they are very high energy, a walk a few hours before may help their focus, but this is not essential.
Please bring plenty of treats! Ideally, the ones your dog loves that are super small, as they will end up having a lot! If they aren't treat-focused, then their favourite toy or whatever you usually use to reward them.
-
Fun, cute, and joyful images! There will be 2 different backdrop colours you can choose from- if you can't decide, Katie will be on hand to help based on your dog's personality and general aesthetic. We will usually start with the calm and cute poses before moving on to fun stuff like treat catches and lick shots. We will discuss the exact pictures you want prior to your session to ensure you love all your images.
-
Yes! We can accommodate multiple dogs from the same household. Just let us know in advance so we can schedule enough time and space accordingly.
